For those wanting tips on how to roleplay, here are a few.
- Be descriptive. Being descriptive is always helpful, as it allows the other RPers to know exactly what you're doing. Just don't be too descriptive and write a whole page about your character making a sandwich, as no one would want to read that.
- Use proper grammar. Proper grammar is always something you should use, as it makes you look nice and smart. If English isn't your first language, then it's okay to slip up on your grammar, as you have a valid excuse! Another time when you can use improper grammar is if your OC doesn't know English very well, then it'll fit with their character.
- Follow the rules of the roleplay. Following the rules is always something you should do, as if you don't, you'll most likely be kicked from it. Another thing that fits with this tip is to actually read the rules.
- Ask questions. If you don't know how something works in a roleplay, then be sure to ask. You don't want to be that person who decides that their character finds a fish translator in the ocean in a roleplay that is set in the past now do you?
- Finally, have fun!
